Audio Desync on STB. Necessary Checks.

If you encounter desynchronization of audio and video on STBs, please check the following before contacting Support Team.

  1. Try to reproduce the problem on a different STB model at the customer location.
  2. Is the audio output directly by the TV, or is there an external speaker / soundbar or HDMI ARC connection? Try to reproduce the problem where the sound is output directly by the TV.
  3. Connect STB to TV with analog cable. Try to reproduce the problem.
  4. Check if there are “Audio Delay” or “Lip Sync” options in the TV or soundbar settings. Try to reset it to defaults or try to adjust it.
