Getting Logs on LG Smart TV
When you need to get logs on your LG WebOS Smart TV, just follow this guide.
- Connect to your TV and Install the SmartTUBE App as described here
- Run the following commands in the WebOS TV CLI console:

ares-inspect -o -d <TV Name> -a <App Name> Example: ares-inspect -o -d lg6_home -a com.IptvOttOperatorName.app |
You can find out the
<TV Name> using the command ares-setup-device -list and
<App Name> using the command ares-install –device <TV Name> –list
- If the application has not been started, it will start after the Step 2. Also the log from the TV will open in the Chromium web browser.
- Reproduce the action you want to explore.

Some TV models allow you to save the log to a file in the
Network tab > Export her icon. The file is saved to the home folder named fe.<operator_name>.al.har or <FILENAME>.har.
